You earn a large rested experience bonus when you log out in this rest areas. This gives you a massive 200-percent bonus to experience gain from most actions (though experience from quests isn’t included). The amount of rested experience you earn increases the longer you’re logged off, and your experience bar will be blue (instead of purple) while you have the bonus.
Most heirlooms only work in a limited level range in their default form and must be upgraded to work at higher levels. That costs gold, and you’ll need around 30,000 gold to outfit yourself with a fully upgraded set (counting only those that give you bonus experience). You may need to spend some time on a boosted character to acquire the gold you need to outfit another character with heirlooms, but it’s well worth the effort.
Drustvar is far and away the hardest Alliance zone, which is exactly why you want to do it first. If you have legendary items, they’ll still be usable, and if you don’t, this zone will still be easier early on than it will be later. Drustvar is also extremely fast and will let you jump out ahead of your competition in other zones, which means fewer players around to take your quest objectives.
the guides work great for leveling almost in autopilot, also the zygor guides work great, the only problem is that this 2 companies moved to a monthtly fee payment model for BFA, not worth the money that you are paying if you ended up paying almost the same as the game monthtly subscription. Recently there is a new free addon for leveling in curse addons webpage that do this without the payment, is not as advanced like the pay ones but works. i will leave the link below. We need to support this kind of free addons. 

I'm thinking about buying a second account to power level alts for the heritage armors. Does anyone know if this is still worth it? I was reading that it was nerfed but can't seem to find any guides from 7.3.5 and beyond that show anything one way or the other if taking a 110 to mow stuff down works in dungeons still. Is it just quicker now to quest/dungeon?

Cooking benefits all classes, especially melee and hunters (it is a free source of food). Until higher levels, the benefits it provides are almost exclusively stamina buffs. While more stamina is always nice, cooking is not essential to leveling. Considering the time investment required, if you pick up skinning then cooking would absolutely be a wise skill to level prior to hitting your level cap, as beasts often drop meat useful for skilling up.
Pick a simple goal or idea for your AddOn. It's often a good idea to just make an AddOn that only opens a window or prints a message to get started, especially when everything is new for you. After that works the way it should, and you have learned everything necessary to make an AddOn work at all, you can move on to adding one piece at a time toward your goals. Writting software in general is often a never ending process because you can always think of something new to add or improve. 

I've been having what is apparently a scaling issue caused by inflated secondary stats on some Wrath of the Lich King items. In particular, my Highmountain tauren warrior leveled through Northrend and picked up a green, iLvl 87, 2h sword. All of the secondaries were in the +25 to +30 range, and the Dugi Gear Advisor decided it was better than the heirloom 2h axe I was using. So I went ahead and equipped the sword.
A: We chose to go with the subscription-based model instead of that approach. We've taken the approach that we want players to feel like it's a level playing field once they're in WoW. Outside resources don't play into it -- no gold buying, etc. We take a hard line stance against it. What you get out of microtransactions is kind of the same thing and I think our player base would feel betrayed by it. I think that's something else you have to decide on up-front instead of implementing later.
Battle for Azeroth’s War Mode puts you into PvP mode and grants you 10 percent extra experience. But since the two factions will mostly level in separate zones entirely, you should almost definitely have this on when you’re leveling. That said, if you start getting killed by random PvP players consistently, stop using it. Although 10 percent is nice, it’s not worth dying every few minutes for.
As the first major content release of Battle for Azeroth, patch 8.1: Tides of Vengeance is adding a number of new ways to gear up, as well as increasing the item level of rewards from existing activities. Tides of Vengeance goes live on December 11th and will add most of the new content, but Mythic+ and PvP Season 2 will not start until the new raid, Battle of Dazar'alor, releases in January, at which time the item level thresholds will increase to the new Titanforge cap of 425.

Unfortunately, that can quite time consuming and not everyone can afford to spend so much time getting there. Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to skip all the grueling and time-consuming leveling process and just jump right into the end game? Thankfully, there is - WoW leveling service!

- The auto trash sell feature is also incredible, but I always had issues with it selling gear efficiently. Often I have to open my bags 2-3 times if I have a lot of trash, because it can't clear it all in one go. There's also a very noticeable delay with this feature when opening the bags, almost like the bag UI is freezing for a few seconds, then it clears. I've started using a different add on for auto selling trash and it does it all instant, no hiccups, no nothing. Just one swift move.


At level 80, I skipped Cataclysm and went straight to Pandaria. Even as my warrior leveled up, and that heirloom axe increased in iLvl along with me, Dugi still ranked that iLvl 87 sword higher. I kept picking up new 2h weapons, and Dugi kept rejecting them in favor of that Wrath sword. That's when I noticed that all of these Pandaria weapon drops, even weapons 20 iLvls higher than the Wrath sword, had secondaries under 20. So even though Dugi Gear Advisor is showing that a new weapon would provide a DPS increase, it still prompts me to re-equip that Wrath sword every time I equip a new weapon. Meanwhile, I've kept the heirloom axe in my bags, assuming that at some point its stats would once again beat whatever I had equipped, but nope, it doesn't, according to Dugi.

All I'm saying is that Blizz destroyed Levelling in my opinion. Having the option to get it all out of the way so quickly was a good idea, while still having the option to clear it all like one normally would. WoW is a game that's meant to have options, and ours has been severely reduced to 2 options; "Heirloom On," and "Heirloom Off." They even killed RaF exp gain and it no longer stacks with Heirlooms. They even killed the SoR for no reason at all. Feelsbadman.

Also Alliance currently has a 30% XP buff in War Mode (Horde has 10%) that will last the reset since that bonus changes reset by reset depending on faction participation in War Mode (so next week might be lower, or stay the same, 30% is the cap limit, it will change from 10% to 30% week by week for both factions depending on representation). It works from 20 onwards, it gives you extra abilities you can earn via leveling to use in PvP.
