The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides.  My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first.  I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster.  I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP.  I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker.  I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow.  For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways.  Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.

If a companion dies during the battle, it will need to be resurrected before it can participate in another encounter or be summoned as a traveling companion. Get that pet a medic! Or in this case, a Stable Master. Stable Master NPCs can heal and revive your pets for a small fee, and there is no cooldown on the Stable Master's heal. You’ll find Stable Masters in major towns and cities across Azeroth.

When it comes time that the body and mind have been prepared for the ultimate task, the potential demon hunter enters into a summoning circle surrounded by a binding rune. In the middle of this summoning circle, a single demon is called forward and the potential demon hunter is forced to fight for their lives without any help from the outside. The demon in question that is summoned is not influenced by the summoner, but the potential demon hunter within the circle might influence the demon that is summoned by a particular hatred or wish for vengeance upon a certain type of demon. If the potential demon hunter is successful in killing the summoned demon, they must then devour the heart of the creature as well as drink its blood. The binding of the demon’s soul to the demon hunter is extremely powerful, one in five surviving the ritual. As well, the demon’s flesh is extremely difficult to keep down, as if it tries to sear the inside of the body and crawl its way back up the throat of the potential demon hunter. After devouring the heart of the demon slain, each demon hunter is given a vision of the Burning Legion, witnessing the horrors of their enemy for themselves, ending with all potential demon hunters gouge out their own eyes. In the wake of the ritual, almost all successful demon hunters pass out either due to sickness, shock, exhaustion, or overwhelming fatigue.
The main topic for Classic at the moment would be whether the game is actually harder or just has more redundant activities you have to do before doing the stuff that's really fun. This is actually a good discussion to have, and not just for WoW, but gaming in general. The main sticking point for now, as most people are on (relatively) low levels is the breaks between killing mobs, especially for mana users. In the beginning it's actually refreshing having to think about what you can and can't pull, not just running into a bunch of mobs and killing them in *insert current optimal time to kill Blizzard determined is the most fun*. The food/drink breaks after a few (or even one) mobs provide time to actually look around the scenery and the mobs you're facing, and while there isn't much strategy involved at these levels, you still at least pretend to plan out how you're going to get to that quest mob without being killed by the 4 random ones surrounding them. Not being able to pull whatever mob you want, and actually having to check what mobs are there when you don't have interrupts yet (casters tend to be a nightmare) is definitely more difficult in a real way than what we have today. As a caster, having to actually think about which spells to use based on mana cost (and perhaps even using lower ranked ones) is definitely more difficult and requires more engagement with your character than we have in modern WoW.
For the duration of the fight, creatures in the immediate area will not be visible to you (but they may still attack you if they wander too close). Keep in mind that other players will still be able to see you and attack you if you are eligible for player vs. player (PVP). Other players will also be able to view your pet battle in real time, including the pets involved as well as their health as the match progresses.
Observer: (Caution) Where the felhounds merely seek to devour magic, the Observers seek to see what magic has to offer, to devour the newest forms of magic, and to understand the secrets that lay within each form of spellcraft. To the demon hunters that manage to survive an encounter with these squid-like creatures in their binding rituals, they may walk away with a never-ending thirst to better their own magical talent, to understand the dark spellcraft of the fel, and to command the secrets of the universe.
I'm happy to see them really committing to this. I didn't think I would be all that interested, but I will sure give it a go. Personally I wouldn't mind quality of life improvements and most of my friend don't really care for a 100% authentic vanilla experience but they want the old zones and world, a game world pre-Cataclysm but have no requirement for it being "authentic" to World of Warcraft Patch 1.12.2.
At some point, Zygor was destroyed. Accounts differed as to what the cause of this was and when it happened. According to one account, the planet was destroyed in the war against the Xaranti. (PROSE: The Bodysnatchers) Another account given by the Zygon Broton in the 20th century said his world was destroyed in a "recent catastrophe". (TV: Terror of the Zygons) Another account, given by Elizabeth I who had been posing as a Zygon in 1562, said that the Zygons lost their world when it burned in the first days of the Time War. I’m not the biggest fan of BoA by any stretch, but I’ve played since closed beta vanilla, and I doubt I’ll be going back to classic. Leveling was painful. Experiencing these old systems once was enough.”
All of this is keeping with the spirit of vanilla, which I think is more important than that a specific number be 11 instead of 12. And it would help to "resize the swing" by making the game harder to the more experienced community, and forcing people to re-discover the game rather than simply looking up whatever they want to know on a spreadsheet somewhere.

I have tried it a few times. It's good if you're new to the game. Otherwise not so much. I found I leveled slower by using it, as it's suggesting to take the longest possible route usually. Basically following roads everytime, when you could take an easy shortcut. Especially if the shortcut involves a bit of fall damage, it's out of question. The "go here" spots don't also update if you take a shortcut, and then the waypoint arrow points to wrong direction. But perhaps it has been updated since then.
Blizzard has given us a pile of new information on World of Warcraft Classic, including the fact that it’ll finally release this August. But you won’t have to wait quite that long to start playing for yourself – the WoW Classic beta goes live tomorrow, May 15. This is a closed beta, and Blizzard says it’s pretty limited in scope, but there will be more chances to play heading into the WoW Classic release date.

Why was this downvoted? The swing analogy is horrible. There’s nothing physical that’s going to change when u play the game the exact same way as 04 05 06. The difference is u know what’s going on as opposed to not knowing where anything is. A good analogy would be playing Pokémon red again after beating the elite 4. The game itself won’t be any worse, it just will be easier and maybe less enjoyable if all you enjoyed is the aspect of not knowing where to go. But this is why pvp servers are magical, because each time you level a character, your leveling experience is different based on the encounters that happen while questing. In 05 U may have breezed through stv, but in classic u may spend an hour on a single quest solely because of the competition between factions on that particular quest.
The World of Warcraft is going back to its roots with WoW Classic. Giving players the chance to return to the game as it was around the time of its launch, WoW Classic is set to launch worldwide on August 27. However, ahead of its imminent release, the team at Blizzard are offering a closed beta test for WoW Classic, and we've got all the details players need to jump in on the action.
Swim Speed Potions (used especially at lvl 37 for Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands and lvl 57 in WPL).  Try to get multiple stacks of these.  I also recommend keeping a stack of these always in your bags.  You will frequently pass rivers and lakes and can use these potions to pass them faster through out the guide.  Please note that these potions do not stack with Druid's Aquatic Form and Glyph of Aquatic Form.
Doomguard: The Doomguard serve as the Burning Legion’s lieutenants, captains, and generals. While it is incredibly unlikely that a demon hunter would be capable of defeating a Doomguard within their summoning circle, those that succeed would be granted overwhelming and overbearing power, the like that few would be able to contain. However, just as the Doomguard serve as the Burning Legion’s battlefield leadership, perhaps a sliver of that might be imbued within the handful of demon hunters capable of binding themselves with one and surviving.

Unlike their night elven brothers-in-arms, the blood elven demon hunters have only one true avenue to their becoming what they are: the Sunfury. What this means for the character is that they were part of the coalition of elves to follow Kael’thas Sunstrider away from Quel’thalas in the wake of the Sunwell’s destruction. These same elves were present (and survived) the attacks on Northrend by Illidan Stormrage, Kael’thas, and Lady Vashj as well as the conquering of Outland through shackling Magtheridon. The Sunfury elves who had either proven themselves capable enough, sworn vendetta against the Burning Legion, and remained loyal to the Illidari in the wake of Kael’thas’ betrayal would prove capable of becoming demon hunters in the footsteps of Varedis Felsoul, the first blood elven demon hunter. 

Analogy: think back on riding the swings in kindergarten. Was it fun? Now, imagine going back to those swings exactly as they were, and sitting in them now, as an adult. They're too small. They don't fit. Your feet drag on the ground because they're so low to the ground. The bar over your head is low enough that you can reach out and touch it, and even at the highest the swing will go, it's only about chest high when you're standing up. It's exactly the same swing, but riding on it now is a very different experience, yes?
Wrathguard: (Caution) The martial Eredar of the Burning Legion, these soldiers enact the will of the masters of their cause. Where the Felguard often charge crazed into battle, the Wrathguard operate under a singular purpose that is to protect their charges and to strike precisely against the enemies of the Burning Legion. Just the same, the Eredar Wrathguard are not to be trifled with, showcasing a pinnacle threat to any demon hunter unfortunate enough to summon one during their ritual. However, those that are capable of defeating these outstanding soldiers and maintaining their power would no doubt be imbued with the same physical endurance and threatening presence as that which now labors within them to escape.
Although the Battle Pet Trainer will only offer to teach you your race-specific companion, it is possible to add all of these pets to your collection. You can either find them in your faction’s auction house or you can create a character of the race whose pet you would like to learn. Using your new character, you can seek out any battle pet trainer in major cities. After you learn the pet, you can delete the character; the pet you learned will not be removed from your collection.
Other methods have been discussed. For example, mods could be crippled. DBM didn't exist back then, and the other boss that did that I don't remember the name of, didn't do as much back then as DBM does now. If our goal is to recreate the experience as it was, then obviously not having DBM would be a reasonable way to accomplish that. DBM simply existing, makes the game today easier than it was. So disallow it. Again, this is completely consistent with the spirit of vanilla. Remember one-button-decursing? That was nerfed. They crippled the capabilities of the modding API to disallow that because it made the game too easy. So what if they cripple it a little bit more to once again make the game less easy?

There are two parts of the quest chain for each continent. The first part involves defeating numerous Master Pet Tamers, and the second requires you to triumph over the Grand Master Tamer. After you've bested the Grand Master Tamer, dailies from each Tamer will unlock for that continent. All the dailies continue to reward experience for your companions, however only the Grand Master daily quest will reward the Sack of Pet Supplies.
