Sharding eliminates server load and realm stability. Cross-realm sharding is here so that players are evenly distributed across realms and helps combat underpopulation. Sharding at launch is vital to ensure a stable launch of an expansion. Starting zones would be filled with millions of people and that would turn even accepting a quest into a nightmare. Occasionally it's also been proposed to re-randomize all the gear. We didn't have best in slot lists back then. People weren't starting out as a fresh level 1 character with a complete list of which dungeons to run at 60 in order to gear as quickly and efficiently as possible. Now, all that data is available. If gear were re-randomized then all of those lists would become useless and thing would be close to how they were. Which is a more important part of the "vanilla experience?" the fact that item X from boss Y has exactly Z stats on it, or the voyage of discovery? Personally I think that voyage is way more important. Do you remember how many points of which stat on the ring or whatever that Darkmaster Gandling drops? I don't. Would it kill your experience if the BiS for every class were in a different dungeon so people had to actually play to figure it out rather than simply consult a spreadsheet? I don't think it would. For that matter, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to handle it intelligently so that the better gear is in later dungeons. I remember there because some weird cases where level 40ish gear was better than anything that dropped in level 60 dungeons.

Lately my streams have died down quite a bit due to working on Classic WoW leveling guides every day.  Although I may come on occasionally and play a random game for fun on my Twitch stream.  I talk a lot about WoW speedrunning on my channel, so feel free to follow and hang out to discuss vanilla WoW if you like.  Classic WoW will be my main focus for a long time.  Unfortunately I will have to wait until Classic WoW comes out before I start streaming it.
Unlike many other classes, writing a demon hunter carries with it a necessity for a call to action for the character in question. For those writing a night elven demon hunter, this call to action is wildly different and varies heavily from each individual whereas those who are writing blood elven demon hunters have only one true avenue for their path: those sent to Illidan Stormrage by Kael’thas Sunstrider to train to become demon hunters.

It was the experience of the game that brought pleasure and joy, and that's what a lot of us want again. Not the numbers. When I play Classic I want to go through the deadmines with people I like and overcome a challenge together and see myself become stronger as a result. I don't want to play Classic so I can say "booyah! That number is exactly the same as it was 13 years ago!"
Some quests in my guide are marked as "SKIP" and colored in red.  These quests are simply either too hard to solo or not worth the XP/time and are skipped.  My guide will only list SKIPPED quests if the quest is a direct follow up after completing a quest, not one that you have to click the NPC again to get it.  If you hover over the skipped quests, it will give info on why it is skipped in the guide (unless that info is already listed directly in the guide text).
However, after a while the novelty of it wears off and you do start getting a little bored of all the eating and drinking (and wondering why your character isn't getting to Kul Tiran levels of fat), especially if you hop on to BfA for a bit in between. The difference is huge and once you're used to just slamming into 5 mobs and downing them quickly it can get a bit boring to just pull 1 mob at a time and then wait and wait. The really low levels aren't that different between live and Classic in terms of gameplay however, as the small amount of abilities means combat isn't exactly the most exciting thing in either. On live you get past that pretty quickly, but it takes a while longer in Classic (especially if you're playing solo).
Doomguard: The Doomguard serve as the Burning Legion’s lieutenants, captains, and generals. While it is incredibly unlikely that a demon hunter would be capable of defeating a Doomguard within their summoning circle, those that succeed would be granted overwhelming and overbearing power, the like that few would be able to contain. However, just as the Doomguard serve as the Burning Legion’s battlefield leadership, perhaps a sliver of that might be imbued within the handful of demon hunters capable of binding themselves with one and surviving.
In the Duelist Kingdom tournament, Bonz, Sid and Zygor met Bandit Keith, who agreed to coach them through the tournament, so all four of them would advance to Pegasus Castle. Keith wanted revenge against Maximillion Pegasus for humiliating him in the final match of the Intercontinental Championship. While helping them win Duels the first day of the tournament, Keith secretly intends to use them for their Star Chips. When Keith finds out about Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, and the rest of the gang, he plans to get in their way and eliminate them.

The most important thing you should note is that there are no official beta keys. Blizzard opens the gates to their betas by granting access to your account — not sending you a beta key. If you’re in the beta, you’ll be able to download and play the WoW Classic client from your Battle.net launcher. If not, you aren’t in the beta. It’s easy to be tricked into thinking you’ll get a beta key from an email that looks like it’s from an official Blizzard address, but don’t believe their lies — they’re all fake.
Step-by-step class guides are on the way!  The 1-12 Mulgore Guide is the first guide to get all the individual class steps.  At the top of the guide, simply select which class you are playing and the page will dynamically update all the steps in the guide for that class (both text and images).  The rest of the guides will be slowly updated overtime to include all the class steps, but you can see how it's going to work with the 1-12 Mulgore.  I want to thank crazyK and his Placeholderguild for helping me out with the individual class content.  They are allowing me to get the 1-60 Alliance guide done while also getting all the class steps done at the same time, so everything can be ready for Classic launch (hopefully).

Bonz has the upper hand, as his Zombie-Type monsters gain a 30% ATK and DEF bonus because of the Graveyard Field, and when they are destroyed, they just regenerate, and become even stronger from "Call of the Haunted". However, when Yugi and the gang arrive, Joey manages to figure out the Zombie's main weakness and that is their DEF is 0. Using "Shield & Sword" to switch their ATK and DEF values, Joey wins the Duel. Bandit Keith then locks the gang in, double crosses his three companions, and enters the Duelist Kingdom Finals after taking Zygor and Sid's five Star Chips by force.
No he's just not paying attention. The wanted quests are built into both the leveling guides and the "Zandalar Forever" achievement guide. They aren't in the rep guide because they are not repeatable and by the time you hit max level they should be done. You'll also notice the rep guide doesn't contain every single possible completable quest that rewards rep. It is designed to focus on repeatable objectives, world quests, large quest lines, and missions.
Observer: (Caution) Where the felhounds merely seek to devour magic, the Observers seek to see what magic has to offer, to devour the newest forms of magic, and to understand the secrets that lay within each form of spellcraft. To the demon hunters that manage to survive an encounter with these squid-like creatures in their binding rituals, they may walk away with a never-ending thirst to better their own magical talent, to understand the dark spellcraft of the fel, and to command the secrets of the universe.
I think you are referring to the Env Bert strat I have linked. Basically I agree. But you might have noticed that I already had added min power to pet #2, in order to exclude some of the substitutes. Though, I didn’t wan’t to do the same with the Blazehaound (pet #1), because I think the strat is doable also with a suboptimal breed. But maybe you are right and I should just exclude any non-P/P breeds.
You are right here. The Rematch string is part of the Info box, and as such it should be parsed correctly. (The string that contains the correct and breed/damage-specific min health requirements). This should be enough, but, I think there are also folks that aren’t using Rematch. They also should know of the type-specific min health requirements. Unfortunatly the default forms of the page don’t offer any detailed entries for the min health. They only offer one entry (for all damage types), and I always put the worst-case min health there (for pets that are weak against the expected damage type)
Blizzard said it will choose players who have active subscriptions to the regular game based on a variety of factors to help them test the beta. It could be based on your PC, your commitment to the game, or just your luck. If you get in, you’ll likely receive an email, but if not, you can check your launcher. And remember: as with any beta, your progress will not be saved for when the game launches later this year.

The Horde 12-20 (Barrens + Stonetalon Mountains) guide has been rewritten and revamped.  In addition, there has been numerous tweaks to the speedrun route to make things faster and easier to follow.  Also, in case you haven't noticed I am now adding about 40% more info per step and redoing all the images.  Unlike with my previous vanilla guides, I am now giving a brief explanation of where to go and what to do with each step along with any other helpful tips.

Within the context of Classic, the method most frequently proposed is to re-tune bosses to make them harder. Rather than copying the numbers, re-create the relative difficulty. Kind of like, when you first start working out, you use small weights. When you get stronger, you lift bigger weights. The WoW community is more knowledgeable, more experienced, has better hardware, etc. We're "stronger." So give us tougher bosses. There are a lot of forms that could take. Bosses were constantly re-tuned during vanilla anyway, so if Ragnaros does 10% more damage or something, is that really a problem? I don't think it is. What about resistance gear? back in the day, collecting resist gear was a thing people did. But the numbers and strategies are so well known today that only the tank really needs it anymore. Bosses could be re-tuned with more resistible elemental damage so that's important for entire raids to gear appropriately. That would be entirely keeping with the spirit of vanilla even if the actually numbers sitting in a database somewhere were different than they were ~13 years ago. If you want to go a little farther, a few people have proposed adding new abilities to old bosses, adjusting their timing, etc.
You’ll get a small window inside the game with instructions for what you need to do next, every step of the way to 120. You’ll also get a waypoint arrow that points you in the right direction to go at all times. If this sounds extremely convenient, you’re right! Zygor’s leveling guide/addon has completely taken the frustration out of leveling for me, personally. No more reading comments on WoWHead about how to complete quests. No more getting stuck, frustrated and bored with leveling. And no more feeling like WoW takes too much effort.
Hey folks! I’ve got a small update here to help quell some of the rumors and let you know where we are at for WoW Classic. We recently began a phase of internal employee alpha testing. The new build data that many of you have been discussing over the last few days is simply part of this process. Phases like this allow us to test out the game content along with other functionality that will be used in the live game, like logging in through the Blizzard Battle.net 175 App.
Workaround as a player is simply to skip forward past that step in the guide, at which point it has steps for the other quests. I'm still on Bleakrock as that character, so I don't know if a duplicate "begin the evacuation" step exists after you've found all the missing people. In either case, just don't talk to Captain Rana about evacuating until you've completed all the other main/sidequests on Bleakrock, which are listed at the UESP link above.
Regardless of the brotherhood shared by the Illidari in their single-minded mission, there is a level of disconnect between Lord Illidan’s demon hunters and the rest of his forces. While this is by no means enforced, it is basically self-imposed by the demon hunters themselves, as the blood elves inhabiting the Grand Promenade had no issue to Vandel spending some of his free time there with their denizens. Furthermore, the bond of brotherhood is not as strong as one might expect between two demon hunters, as during their training and sparring sessions, there is nothing that stops one party from killing another so long as they maintain control of their inner-demons. Just the same, there are those within Illidan’s forces that zealously believe and follow his teachings, mentality, and machinations without question but it is not wholly uncommon for some demon hunters to either question, doubt, or even outright disagree with their lord’s ideals and methods.
There are two parts of the quest chain for each continent. The first part involves defeating numerous Master Pet Tamers, and the second requires you to triumph over the Grand Master Tamer. After you've bested the Grand Master Tamer, dailies from each Tamer will unlock for that continent. All the dailies continue to reward experience for your companions, however only the Grand Master daily quest will reward the Sack of Pet Supplies.
