Much like an encounter with a wild pet team, PVP Pet Battles are turn-based. However, unlike the PVE version, the PVP combat system is timed and any ability for each round must be chosen within that time limit otherwise it will assume you have passed a turn. A time penalty is applied if you take more than 15 seconds to choose an action, resulting in progressively shorter round timers for you. 

It is completely acceptable, but harder to write, that your character has been a demon hunter sometime after the War of the Ancients. This is no different than people who have written ancient druids, and it poses the same exact problems in writing. I would not recommend this to anyone who is not a seasoned veteran when it comes to writing characters, as the longer your character has been a demon hunter, the older your character is, the more difficult to control the fel magic within, the more detached from society, and the more withdrawn they may become. Overall, it becomes incredibly harder to write.
I consider myself a purist in that I would prefer classic to be released as close as possible to the original. Where that is on the spectrum of patch content will be up to blizz. I'm also not vane enough to believe that any single state of the game is the "Ideal" location we should be aiming for. There is common ground that we can agree on, and I would welcome more than a few changes as long as they are made in the spirit of keeping classic on the vanilla rails.
I used Zygor for legion and BFA, used AA on an alt for BFA. Personally i like Zygors format more. I like being able to target things like achievements. I used Zygor to get my Mindworm and my Lucid Nightmare as well as finish the Rep grinds for the allied races. I have zero complaints. My experience was great. I also used Zygor for some professions, recipe acquisition, a couple mounts, all of the Suramar quest line. Thank God for that. And for the last zone of Draenor on my Demon Hunter.. i forget the name.. Whatever the big daily hub thing was called.
I think you are referring to the Env Bert strat I have linked. Basically I agree. But you might have noticed that I already had added min power to pet #2, in order to exclude some of the substitutes. Though, I didn’t wan’t to do the same with the Blazehaound (pet #1), because I think the strat is doable also with a suboptimal breed. But maybe you are right and I should just exclude any non-P/P breeds.
Step-by-step class guides are on the way!  The 1-12 Mulgore Guide is the first guide to get all the individual class steps.  At the top of the guide, simply select which class you are playing and the page will dynamically update all the steps in the guide for that class (both text and images).  The rest of the guides will be slowly updated overtime to include all the class steps, but you can see how it's going to work with the 1-12 Mulgore.  I want to thank crazyK and his Placeholderguild for helping me out with the individual class content.  They are allowing me to get the 1-60 Alliance guide done while also getting all the class steps done at the same time, so everything can be ready for Classic launch (hopefully).
Regardless of the brotherhood shared by the Illidari in their single-minded mission, there is a level of disconnect between Lord Illidan’s demon hunters and the rest of his forces. While this is by no means enforced, it is basically self-imposed by the demon hunters themselves, as the blood elves inhabiting the Grand Promenade had no issue to Vandel spending some of his free time there with their denizens. Furthermore, the bond of brotherhood is not as strong as one might expect between two demon hunters, as during their training and sparring sessions, there is nothing that stops one party from killing another so long as they maintain control of their inner-demons. Just the same, there are those within Illidan’s forces that zealously believe and follow his teachings, mentality, and machinations without question but it is not wholly uncommon for some demon hunters to either question, doubt, or even outright disagree with their lord’s ideals and methods.

Keep in mind that these quests are optional, and are not necessary to continue leveling and capturing companions. They are also account-wide, so if you complete the quest chain on one character, you will not be able to complete it again on another. However, any progress that you've made will be saved and you can pick up where you left off in the quest chain on another character. The dailies that you've unlocked will also be accessible by all your toons.
Blizzard also announced a boxed Collector's Edition for World of Warcraft to ring in the game's 15th anniversary. It includes a Onyxia pin, map of Azeroth mouse pad, art prints, special anniversary mounts, and a large black-and-gold statue of Ragnaros the Firelord. It will release on October 8 for $100, and you can pre-purchase from the Blizzard store.

To actually get access to the beta, which has already started and continue to add more players, you need to sign up via your Blizzard account management page. Under Games & Subscriptions, scroll down to Beta Access and visit the Beta Profile Settings page. Once there, you’ll see a grid of available betas you can opt into. Once you’ve checked WoW Classic, hit Update Preferences and you’re set.

Hey folks! I’ve got a small update here to help quell some of the rumors and let you know where we are at for WoW Classic. We recently began a phase of internal employee alpha testing. The new build data that many of you have been discussing over the last few days is simply part of this process. Phases like this allow us to test out the game content along with other functionality that will be used in the live game, like logging in through the Blizzard Battle.net 175 App.
Unlike their night elven brothers-in-arms, the blood elven demon hunters have only one true avenue to their becoming what they are: the Sunfury. What this means for the character is that they were part of the coalition of elves to follow Kael’thas Sunstrider away from Quel’thalas in the wake of the Sunwell’s destruction. These same elves were present (and survived) the attacks on Northrend by Illidan Stormrage, Kael’thas, and Lady Vashj as well as the conquering of Outland through shackling Magtheridon. The Sunfury elves who had either proven themselves capable enough, sworn vendetta against the Burning Legion, and remained loyal to the Illidari in the wake of Kael’thas’ betrayal would prove capable of becoming demon hunters in the footsteps of Varedis Felsoul, the first blood elven demon hunter.

1 All expansion guides are written in the Battle for Azeroth beta in order to have them ready on launch day. It's important to note that betas can be buggy and unstable and may delay and even halt our progress on the guides. Kaivax, a WoW forum community manager, revealed that WoW Classic's class design, battleground mechanics and stats on existing items will be set to their 1.12 state, despite the game releasing content that expands beyond that. This removes "progressive itemization," so if the stats on a specific piece of equipment was changed during the original updates, that won't take effect in this version.
When it comes to Classic, Blizzard's goal is to provide an authentic Vanilla experience, but they also needed to come up with technology to handle many players at launch, which is similar to sharding. While the use of this technology will be limited to the first month following launch, many players are questioning this decision and wouldn't like to see layering in the game at all.

You can opt in for the beta at the official site. When the beta launches on May 15, players who’ve gotten in will be able to play all the way from from level one to 30. WoW game director Ion Hazzikostas tells us that the beta will be “uncharacteristically small compared to our expansions,” in part to ensure that the focus is on the proper launch this August.
The vanilla WoW Horde leveling guide you see on this site was originally made back in 2006 by Joana (AKA Mancow, or FuriousPaul).  The guides have been tweaked many times over the years to make things "faster".  The leveling guides were made because of all the messages I got from people asking me how I was able to level up so quickly on new realms.  I was first to level 60 on 7 different realms (3 with Mancow and 4 with Joana), even winning Blizzard's "First to Level 50" contest they held back in 2006.
2. Your DH needs supplies on a regular basis. They can only carry so much food, clean drink, medical potions and whatever else they want/need at a time. It's pretty realistic that they would need to visit a market every so often, and large faction markets will have the most variety and types of items to choose from. (My DH has been a recluse in the wild for some time, and she is stinky, dirty and has eaten some questionable stuff. This isn't really ideal and a Dalaran doughnut would be pretty flippin nice.)
4. The varying hum of the bustle of the crowds, or the crowded rowdy bar, at peak hours might be very effective in drowning out any maddening chatter from the demon soul within your DH, likely more effective than even white noise. Tucking away somewhere where the noise can reach you, yet you are out of sight save for the citizen wandering off the beaten path, might allow you to actually get some rest while your inner demon is at least somewhat drowned out. So you may seek out such a place when you are near a need for sleep, after discovering this new coping mechanism, especially if things have been rough internally lately.
5. Spending time actually leisurely talking with others once in a while is actually good for your sanity. If the only entity you're ever communicating with for days to weeks at a time is the demon soul inside of you, it might be hard not to start losing touch and eventually your marbles, especially if your inner demon is especially manipulative (nathrezim, shivarra, succubus, etc) and does more than just constantly offer you MOARPOWAH. However, you might be terrified of actually getting attached to anyone, you don't want the Legion to use that against you. Random, fleeting encounters with complete strangers in taverns and the like is the middle ground you need, to see all of these people and (well hopefully, depends on the crowd) remember what you're trying to protect in the first place, to maybe see children shopping with mama in the market place, or to hear some soldier in the bar talking about his old man back home.
Swim Speed Potions (used especially at lvl 37 for Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands and lvl 57 in WPL).  Try to get multiple stacks of these.  I also recommend keeping a stack of these always in your bags.  You will frequently pass rivers and lakes and can use these potions to pass them faster through out the guide.  Please note that these potions do not stack with Druid's Aquatic Form and Glyph of Aquatic Form.

To get back to Classic for a bit, this is what I think is happening. Players who prefer the old ways (and full disclosure, I'd count myself among them, but to a smaller degree than most) complain/talk about the negative sides of modern WoW and Battle for Azeroth in general. While they do this they also talk about how things were better before and often mention Vanilla as a reference point. People who enjoy BfA now feel attacked by this and so they retaliate. Hence, liking Classic means you either have nostalgia goggles on or have no idea what you're talking about and will hate the same things you say you want 2 weeks after you start playing it. It's an amazing thing, where literally each side is doing to the other what they feel is being (wrongly) done to them. I feel like writing this is the most redundant thing I've ever done, and yet I also feel that it needs to be said, because it seems some people just don't get what they're doing, or at least I hope they don't (some do and are doing it on purpose but there's trolls everywhere so there's no point in even discussing them).

When hovering over an ability, the tooltip will tell you whether or not that attack is weak or strong against certain pet types. Additionally, you can hover over the opposing team's pets and view their attacks during combat. This will be important since it’s a good idea to pit a pet that's strong against the opponent's pet who's vulnerable to that type.

If a companion dies during the battle, it will need to be resurrected before it can participate in another encounter or be summoned as a traveling companion. Get that pet a medic! Or in this case, a Stable Master. Stable Master NPCs can heal and revive your pets for a small fee, and there is no cooldown on the Stable Master's heal. You’ll find Stable Masters in major towns and cities across Azeroth.
Shivarra: (Caution) While the succubi serve the Legion in ways of mystique and gaining from the pleasure of mortals, Shivarra act as the bishops on the chessboard to Sargeras’ near-immortal army. Charismatic, seductive, coy, and brutal, the Shivarra are not to be trifled with: just the same as Illidan employed them for the same purposes as the Burning Legion themselves did. To the demon hunters who find themselves staring down one of these towering, six-armed figures in their binding ritual, perhaps they stand to become some of the greatest battlefield assets in the Illidari’s army, capable of inspiring and slaughtering demons with unfaltering speed and a provocative grace.
Analogy: think back on riding the swings in kindergarten. Was it fun? Now, imagine going back to those swings exactly as they were, and sitting in them now, as an adult. They're too small. They don't fit. Your feet drag on the ground because they're so low to the ground. The bar over your head is low enough that you can reach out and touch it, and even at the highest the swing will go, it's only about chest high when you're standing up. It's exactly the same swing, but riding on it now is a very different experience, yes?
The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.

We’ll have more information on realm names closer to launch, but rest assured—you’ll have plenty of time to figure out your plans for realm domination!
Well, I think, a “wall of of text” is not defined by the amount of characters. To create a wall of text you need two things: lots of characters, and lots of missing line breaks / paragraphs. I’m completely aware of that, and I’m always trying to section and format my texts in a manner that makes it usable for readers ;) I think the limit of 990 chars is not contributing to avoid walls of text. (It’s easy to build a a wall of text with only 500 chars, but I think you got what I mean…)

Different qualities aren't limited only to wild pets—many rare World drops and special non-wild companions have had their stats boosted. For example, the world-drop dragon whelps (Azure Whelpling, Crimson Whelpling, Dark Whelpling, and Emerald Whelpling) are of [rare] quality. Check your Pet Journal to see the color-coded rarity of your non-wild pets. 

On March 23, 2018, Zygor Guides announced that they would end support for their ESO guide. Later, via answers given on the forums, they confirmed they would not add a leveling guide for Summerset. Their guide is Public Domain with Zygor's blessing for the community to create guides. So I took it upon myself to create a Summerset guide for the ESO community.
Swim Speed Potions (used especially at lvl 37 for Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands and lvl 57 in WPL).  Try to get multiple stacks of these.  I also recommend keeping a stack of these always in your bags.  You will frequently pass rivers and lakes and can use these potions to pass them faster through out the guide.  Please note that these potions do not stack with Druid's Aquatic Form and Glyph of Aquatic Form.
In the wake of clawing, gouging, or cutting out their own eyes, the demon hunter undergoes a change and begins to see the world anew. Rather than perceiving the world as a normal individual would, they begin to understand the world as a level of energy, viewing everything around them with a fel-touched sense of sight that, “can see to the end of the universe,” as was stated by Illidan Stormrage himself to Vandel. This sight has no issue in distinguishing inorganic matter, organic matter, and even the type of magic being utilized or welling within a particular individual. A fledgling demon hunter without the proper guidance might stumble around for months or longer trying to figure out how to see in the wake of their loss of eyes, while those who were trained under the guiding hand of the Illidari might have been given an easier time coping with this newfound sixth sense due to being around so many of their comrades and those who had also walked the path before them.
Why was this downvoted? The swing analogy is horrible. There’s nothing physical that’s going to change when u play the game the exact same way as 04 05 06. The difference is u know what’s going on as opposed to not knowing where anything is. A good analogy would be playing Pokémon red again after beating the elite 4. The game itself won’t be any worse, it just will be easier and maybe less enjoyable if all you enjoyed is the aspect of not knowing where to go. But this is why pvp servers are magical, because each time you level a character, your leveling experience is different based on the encounters that happen while questing. In 05 U may have breezed through stv, but in classic u may spend an hour on a single quest solely because of the competition between factions on that particular quest.
